Easy Apply is a game-changing platform designed to revolutionize the talent acquisition process by shifting the focus away from traditional resumes and toward dynamic, personality-driven applications. By empowering job seekers to create engaging elevator pitches and giving employers a more human-centric view of candidates, Easy Apply streamlines the recruiting process to help companies find the best talent faster.
Dubbed by some as the “TikTok for job seekers,” Easy Apply’s innovative approach brings resumes to life and reduces hiring inefficiencies, all while creating a more meaningful connection between employers and candidates. Our mission was to help Easy Apply communicate its unique value proposition to both job seekers and employers by crafting an intuitive, engaging, and efficient platform experience.

In a market crowded with traditional job boards and recruitment platforms, Easy Apply needed to stand out by delivering a more personalized, video-first approach to hiring. To achieve this, we were tasked with designing a user-centric platform that would:

Encourage Adoption by Both Job Seekers and Employers: Build an experience that appeals equally to job seekers looking for new opportunities and employers looking for top-tier talent.
The Solution
Our approach was to design an engaging and efficient platform that embraced the video-first concept, simplified the application process, and provided intuitive tools for employers to evaluate candidates. By focusing on both the candidate and employer experience, we ensured Easy Apply delivered value to both sides of the talent equation.
The solution featured:
1. Dynamic Candidate Profiles: Bringing Resumes to Life
We designed candidate profiles to move beyond static resumes, allowing job seekers to showcase their personality, creativity, and professional experience in a dynamic and engaging format.
- Elevator Pitch Videos: Job seekers can easily record and upload a short, 60-second elevator pitch to introduce themselves, explain why they’re the best fit for a role, and highlight their unique strengths. The video-first approach brings candidates to life, allowing recruiters to assess their soft skills, enthusiasm, and communication abilities instantly.
- Multi-Dimensional Profiles: Alongside their elevator pitch, candidates can add concise snippets about their work experience, skills, and achievements, presented in an easily scannable format. This blend of personality and professionalism delivers a holistic view of the candidate.
- Guided Video Creation: For candidates unfamiliar with creating elevator pitch videos, we integrated prompts and best-practice tips, making it easy for anyone to create a compelling pitch that reflects their strengths.
2. Streamlined Application Process for Job Seekers
We simplified the application process to make it fast, intuitive, and engaging for job seekers.
- One-Click Applications: Candidates can quickly apply to roles with their personalized profiles, including their elevator pitch video, saving time compared to traditional platforms.
- Smart Matching: The platform provides personalized job recommendations based on a candidate’s skills, preferences, and professional background, helping users find the most relevant opportunities.
- Real-Time Feedback: Candidates receive notifications when their profiles are viewed or when they are shortlisted, creating a more transparent and engaging experience.

- Skill Tags and Highlights: Candidate profiles include skill tags and key achievements, making it easy for employers to scan for the qualifications they need without digging through lengthy resumes.
- Comparison and Shortlisting: Recruiters can compare candidates side-by-side and create shortlists in a few clicks, simplifying the decision-making process.
- Smart Filters: Employers can filter candidates by skills, experience level, and other criteria, ensuring they find the right talent faster.
4. User-Centric Design for Seamless Adoption
To encourage adoption by both job seekers and employers, we focused on creating an intuitive and visually engaging interface.
- TikTok-Inspired Video Scrolling: For job seekers and recruiters, the platform features a swipeable interface that allows users to quickly browse elevator pitch videos, mimicking the addictive, user-friendly design of social platforms like TikTok.
- Gamified Elements: To boost candidate engagement, we added gamified elements, such as progress trackers for profile completion and badges for top-performing candidates (e.g., “Most Viewed Profile” or “Highly Rated by Recruiters”).
- Responsive Design: The platform is fully optimized for both desktop and mobile, ensuring a seamless experience across devices for job seekers and recruiters alike.
